LED Virtual Vision POY Winner

The LED Virtual Vision system was named a winner of the Readers’ Choice award for Product of the Year done by Material Handling Product News magazine.

Rite-Hite’s LED Virtual Vision system aims to improve the safety of persons working near high-speed doors. Offered as an alternative to systems that display arrows and countdowns to alert workers when a door is about to close, the system uses red LED lights that indicate when another worker or object is approaching the door from the other side. This prevents collisions, particularly with lift trucks.

The system includes an adjustable range motion sensor positioned on either side of the door; when a sensor detects an object’s approach, the LEDs on the opposite side will flash.
