The Rite-Hite Lok-Vu is a visual dock lock verification system that provides real-time video confirmation of trailer restraint engagement. From simple live visibility to advanced, event-based video and connected intelligence with Lok-Vu Pro, facilities can choose the right dock lock camera system for their operation.
When to choose Lok-Vu vs. Lok-Vu Pro
Choose Lok-Vu if you need:

Lok-Vu is available with single or dual camera systems. The dual camera option allows for interchangeable views between two of three general locations: the RIG of the trailer, the rear-wheelbase of the trailer, and in the case of spotted trailers, the nose of the trailer, to verify trailer stand presence.
Choose Lok-Vu Pro if you need:
- High-definition video confirmation of trailer engagement
- Video integrated into advanced dock controls

Lok-Vu Pro has a single wide-angle, 1080p high-definition Internet Protocol camera system integrated into Dok-Commander PRO Combined Controls, providing the largest on-screen visibility and AI-ready architecture.

- Eliminate Manual Verification. Display exterior camera views inside at the control panel with this dock lock camera system, removing the need for workers to step onto the drive approach.
- Centralized Dock Control. Dok-Commander and Dok-Commander® Pro Combined Controls integrate all dock equipment (vehicle restraints, dock levelers, overhead doors, dock lights, dock fans and Rite-Vu™ Hazard Recognition, including Lok-Vu) into a single, centralized control panel for simplified operation and safer workflows.
- Built for Harsh Environments. All controls are NEMA 4X-rated systems that withstand dust, water, and extreme conditions common at the loading dock.
- High-Definition, Event-Based Video (Pro only). Capture and store event-triggered video tied to dock activity, enabling fast investigation, audit trails, and analytics.
How clear is your communication at the loading dock?
Lok-Vu can be used with Dok-Commander or as a standalone option, while Lok-Vu Pro is exclusively available with Dok-Commander Pro.
