Rite-Hite Launches Dok-Commander® Pro, Delivering Real-Time Visibility and Connected Control at the Loading Dock

MILWAUKEE (April 6, 2026) – Rite-Hite today announced the launch of Dok-Commander Pro, an advanced dock control solution designed to provide real-time equipment visibility and advanced diagnostics at the loading dock with enterprise-level connected insights available through the Rite-Hite ONE platform. The system will be showcased at MODEX 2026 in Atlanta.

Dok-Commander Pro builds on the established Dok-Commander platform with a full touchscreen interface, multilingual-ready navigation and over-the-air firmware and user interface (UI) updates. The system is designed to help facilities enhance dock safety, streamline troubleshooting and support more informed maintenance planning. Dok-Commander Pro establishes a scalable foundation for future automation, AI-driven diagnostics and expanded digital services.

“Dock controls are central to daily operations, but they have not always provided the level of insight that teams need,” says Jason Schmid, product manager at Rite-Hite. “Dok-Commander Pro transforms the dock into a connected control panel. This gives users real-time visibility, advanced diagnostics and actionable equipment data to improve response time, safety and uptime.”

Real-Time Equipment Status and Diagnostics Dok-Commander Pro provides operations and maintenance teams with immediate visibility into dock equipment status, safety-related fault codes and connected device activity through an intuitive touchscreen interface with guided troubleshooting. By centralizing diagnostics and connected equipment information at the point of operation, facilities can respond more quickly to equipment issues and reduce unplanned disruptions.

Over-the-air updates allow facilities to maintain current control functionality without requiring hardware replacement, supporting long-term flexibility and minimizing service complexity.

Digital Confirmation and Enhanced Dock Awareness

The system enhances awareness of dock activity, including impact events, active loading conditions and operating sequences. Lok-Vu™ Pro transitions vehicle restraint status from traditional analog signals to clear digital confirmation. This approach helps operators verify equipment engagement and dock readiness more confidently before loading and unloading, without requiring boots-on-the-ground verification. Lok-Vu Pro is ready to accept future AI feature enhancements without needing new hardware.

The new Smart Leveler package delivers industry-first visibility into dock leveler performance. By automatically calculating fork truck cycles, measuring speed and detecting impacts, it helps facilities manage dock utilization, tailor maintenance schedules and address safety risks early, without manual tracking.

Built for Connected Operations

Designed with evolving automation and connectivity strategies in mind, Dok-Commander Pro integrates with Rite-Hite ONE and supports broader digital service initiatives. The platform provides a scalable foundation for facilities seeking greater operational visibility across dock positions and sites.

“Dok-Commander Pro strengthens the connection between dock-level controls and our broader digital ecosystem,” says Dave Adams, president of digital solutions at Rite-Hite. “It represents an important step toward more consistent, data-informed dock operations.”
