Lock-Down Security System Hold-Open Anti-Sag System
MILWAUKEE -- The Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corporation introduced the Door DeputyTM Door System today, which is designed to help prevent manual sectional doors from drifting into door openings, and to help automatically secure sectional doors in the fully closed position.
"Rite-Hite Aftermarket introduced this product in response to customer demand," Rite-Hite Aftermarket President and CEO Paul Maly said. "This product will help solve door drift problems and improve security at the dock."
The Door Deputy is a two part door system upgrade, consisting of the Hold-OpenTM Anti-Sag System and the Lock-DownTM Security System.
The Hold-Open system helps to prevent the sectional door from sagging into the door opening, minimizing door panel damage and inefficient loading and unloading operations. The Lock-Down system automatically secures a sectional door as it travels to its fully closed position, helping to prevent intruders from entering the facility.
When a sectional door opens, the Door Deputy's Hold-Open bracket travels with the door and automatically activates the system to eliminate door drift. When the door is fully closed the Door Deputy's latching bracket automatically activates the Lock-Down system, helping to secure the door from intruders.
The Door Deputy fits manual sectional doors that are up to 3-inch thick and have a 2 or 3-inch track. Made from high tensile steel the Door Deputy is 2.5 times stronger than a manual sectional door slide lock and can be padlocked for added security.
The Door Deputy can be retrofitted to existing manual sectional door, and easily adjusts for either right or left side door track installation.
