THE SCIENCE OF SAFETY
Not All Barriers Are Created Equal
Watch this NEW VIDEO and discover how Rite-Hite's Safety Barrier Systems can help provide protection and improve efficiency throughout your entire facility.
Industrial facilities often have safety challenges and many use a variety of barriers for protection. The most appropriate barrier for each application is determined after first evaluating the environment it will be used in.
All Rite-Hite barriers are impact rated in terms of total kinetic energy absorption using the Barrier Load and Speed Test (BLAST). This methodology rates a barrier's ability to stop an impact considering weight and speed. We call this The Science of Safety.
Areas that often need barrier protection:
» Loading Dock Edges
» In-Plant Areas (walkways, work zones, blind intersections, etc.)
» Elevated Work Spaces (mezzanines and pick modules)

What does OSHA say?
Employers must provide protection for employees exposed to a risk of harm from a fall on the same level or to a lower level (1910.28).
Rite-Hite barriers are designed with maximum safety in mind, while still offering application flexibility, and access if needed.
