ISO Loading Docks

When designing and constructing temperature-controlled warehouses, effective insulation of the loading dock is of particular importance to avoid costly energy losses. Our ISO loading docks provide high energy savings due to complete insulation of the loading dock area.

Sectional doors of stationary ISO loading docks close in front of the dock leveller, avoiding heat transfer across the surface of the platform into the warehouse. Stationary ISO loading docks are also available in step-down design. With this option, the rear doors of vehicles can be opened after docking, so that the cold chain is not interrupted.

ISO Loading Dock Model G1700

The dock leveller is situated behind the sectional door and inside the warehouse. The sectional door will close over full width in front of the dock leveller onto the external yard. This design ensures that  the front edge of the dock leveller will not function as a cold bridge. Optimum temperature separation and insulation is achieved.

This solution requires a larger sectional door as well as a hydraulic dock leveller with a telescopic lip extension of 1000 mm. A cut out in the concrete floor has to be made to allow the sectional door to travel in front of the dock leveller and to close onto the external yard. After the sectional door is opened, the tailgate of the vehicle can be stored underneath the dock leveller.

ISO Loading Dock Model G1800

The sectional door is fitted with a reduced width bottom panel and will close in front of the dock leveller onto an insulated ISO panel underneath the dock leveller. The dock leveller is situated behind the sectional door and inside the warehouse. This design does not require a cut out in the concrete floor to allow the sectional door to travel in front of the dock leveller.

This solution requires a sectional door with reduced with bottom panel as well as a hydraulic dock leveller with a telescopic lip extension of 1000 mm. The front edge of the dock leveller will not function as a cold bridge. Optimum temperature separation and insulation is achieved. The tailgate of the vehicle can be stored underneath the dock leveller while approaching the loading dock.

ISO Loading Dock Model: G1900

The sectional door will close over full width in front of the dock leveller onto an insulated ISO panel underneath the dock leveller. This design ensures that the front edge of the dock leveller will not function as a cold bridge because the dock leveller is situated behind the sectional door and inside the warehouse. Optimum temperature separation and insulation is achieved.

A cut out in the concrete floor has to be made to allow the sectional door to travel in front of the dock leveller. A hydraulic dock leveller with a telescopic lip extension of 1000 mm is required. The tailgate of the vehicle can be stored underneath the dock leveller while approaching the loading dock.
