EXCELLENT BENEFITS FOR FULL-TIME EMPLOYEES

Healthcare:

Our plan provides medical, dental, vision and prescription coverage at very competitive rates after completion of 30 days of service. Employees may elect to participate in all coverages or dental and vision only. Employees utilizing PPO providers receive the benefit of lower deductibles and higher coverage levels (80%) but the program also allows employees the flexibility to utilize providers outside the PPO network at a lower level of coverage (60%) if they so chose. Our dental and vision benefits are also very competitive and our prescription drug plan is a convenient card / co-pay plan.

Wellness Program:

In 2007 Rite-Hite implemented a wellness program designed to enhance the overall health and wellness of all employees. This new program has been very well received by our employees. As an employee you will be encouraged to participate in various wellness activities.

Medical Leave:

Rite-Hite's exceptional medical leave program provides 100% income replacement for up to six months during qualified medical leaves. There is no cost to employees for this program.

Long Term Disability:

Rite-Hite provides long term disability coverage to all employees. Coverage begins after 30 days of employment and provides income replacement of up to 60%. There is no cost to employees for this program.

Life Insurance:

Life insurance coverage is provided to all employees through Lincoln Financial Group. The coverage is a group term policy which provides a benefit of two times annual salary to a maximum of $150,000. This coverage is provided to all employees free of cost.

Accidental Death and Dismemberment:

An AD&D policy is also provided to all Rite-Hite employees through Lincoln Financial Group. The benefit is two times annual salary to a maximum of $150,000 and once again there is no cost to the employee for this coverage. 

Rite-Hite Retirement Savings Plan and Trust:

Rite-Hite provides an excellent retirement program which includes a profit sharing component as well as an option to save money on a tax deferred basis via a 401(k) plan with company match. The plan is managed by the Charles Schwab Trust Company and includes twenty one investment choices as well as a self directed option. 

Paid Time Off:

Rite-Hite provides up to four weeks of paid vacation time as well as nine paid holidays and personal days (non-exempt employees).

Voluntary Life and AD&D:

Should you wish to supplement the life and AD&D policies provided by Rite-Hite you may do so at competitive group rates via convenient payroll deduction. Coverage may also be purchased for spouses and children.

Flexible Spending Accounts:

We offer both dependent care and healthcare accounts to all eligible employees. These voluntary programs permit employees to pay qualified day care and/or healthcare expenses with pre-tax dollars. 

Tuition Reimbursement:

Upon completion of one year of service, employees may take advantage of our tuition reimbursement program. Employees are encouraged to pursue educational opportunities, which are consistent with their career development.

TYPES OF POSITIONS

Information Technology

Rite-Hite’s Information Technology department consists of four different areas of focus: Business Analysis, Technical Service, HelpDesk Services, and Programming. Each area is vital to the overall success of Rite-Hite’s information technology services. Employees find that each discipline is keenly focused on specific tasks and project oriented work. We are always interested in candidates with some experience in the JD Edwards EnterpriseOne software development platform and/or C++ programming language.

Engineering

Corporate engineering employees within the Rite-Hite organization have several different options based on the needs of our specific product companies. Rite-Hite Doors, Rite-Hite Aftermarket, Rite-Hite Products, Rite-Hite Environmental Enclosures, and DuctSox all have engineering positions that include associate, design, industrial, manufacturing, and product development. Each product company has specific needs such as research & development, project management, industrial and manufacturing processes, and design work. Rite-Hite looks for engineer candidates who have prior experience in the mechanical, industrial, and/or electrical fields.

Sales Support

Rite-Hite has many different types of sales support positions which include customer service, application analysts, order administration, and logistics. Our dedicated and customer-focused team helps provide our sales people, independent sales people, and our customers the best support possible while they are out in the field. Customer service and order administration is responsible for ensuring customer satisfaction through timely and accurate processing of all submitted equipment and parts orders. Application analysts are responsible for providing sales people and customer’s any pre-sales assistance and post survey review.

Human Resources

Rite-Hite’s human resources staff concentrates on recruiting, retention, training, benefits, compensation, and safety. The human resource staff is responsible for establishing pay; developing and maintaining a strong benefits plan, staffing open positions on a local, national, and international level, providing training for new employees, and putting together safety plans for our manufacturing plants and service business. Applicants with demonstrated experience in any of the above human resources fields are what we seek.

Marketing

Rite-Hite has an active, experienced marketing team that provides the best marketing tools and applications for our salespeople to help them in the field. The marketing specialists and product managers are dedicated to specific Rite-Hite companies, but also work together as a team to ensure the best representation for Rite-Hite as a whole.

Marketing specialists put together competitive comparisons for use by sales, conduct market research on products and pricing, keep the website up-to-date, execute advertising campaigns, and give overall marketing support. Product managers assist in the development of marketing strategies for core products. Candidates interested in a marketing position should be able to demonstrate experience in traditional marketing methods, current digital media disciplines, and have solid communication skills.

Service Technician

Rite-Hite has offices around the country staffed by the best service personnel in the business. Our Technicians install equipment, perform preventative maintenance and repairs, and provide technical advice to customers and sales personnel. Service Technicians for Rite-Hite receive thorough training, both in the field and at our Technical Training Center in Milwaukee, WI. They also have access to tuition reimbursement to further their education, either to develop their technical skills on their own or to prepare them for future opportunities with the company. We hire both experienced and entry level service personnel, who are able to progress through a series of technical proficiency grades, to roles such as Team Leader, Service Manager, and higher. Service Technicians need to have good driving records and be able to pass a DOT physical and drug test.  They must be able to work outdoors, on ladders, and able to lift up to 100 pounds, enjoying work that can at times be physically demanding.  Entry level Technicians should have a thirst for learning a new career and a solid mechanical aptitude to start with.  For more experienced Technicians, we look for strong mechanical trouble shooting experience, prefer solid electrical skills, and should be able to weld.  Most of all, every Rite-Hite Service Technician must have a “can do!” attitude, a drive to fix problems for customers, and be good at working with a diverse groups of customers and coworkers.


EXPERIENCED SALES POSITIONS

Rite-Hite Sales Professionals work within protected territories to represent our various lines of products and services. Our customer base includes anyone with a warehouse, with emphasis on Fortune 500 manufacturers and distribution centers. This is an outside sales position which will focus on growing our service business, with responsibility for growing existing accounts, prospecting and securing new customers.

We provide our Sales Force with everything needed for success. This includes the leading product lines in the industry, an ISO 9001 certified service organization, award-winning marketing, excellent initial and ongoing training, sales tools, laptop, smart phone and car allowance, tolls and parking.

Successful candidates will combine a 4 year degree with a minimum of 3 years successful outside sales experience in an industrial or commercial setting, preferably with experience in commercial services or industrial products. Sales Representatives must have knowledge of their territory and its customer base, be able to develop solid territory business plans, and be able to effectively cover their territories on a daily basis.

PROFESSIONAL SALES PROGRAM (Entry Level)

Rite-Hite is looking for entry level graduates to take part in our entry level sales training program. Located in Milwaukee, WI the program prepares the candidate to become full time sales representatives in a protected territory following successful completion of the program. We have opportunities in 60 sales offices throughout the United States.

Candidates selected for the program will receive 3 months of in-depth learning at our world headquarters in Milwaukee, WI consisting of: 

  • classroom training on our products, competitors, and customers sales skills, presentations, demos, and strategies
  • territory and account management skills 
  •  2 months of in-the-field training for hands on experience with the product plus side-by-side time with veteran sales professionals, the district sales manager, and others.

SALES INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

This is a paid sales internship program at Arbon Equipment Corporation, a Rite-Hite owned distribution company. Interns will experience a typical daily sales work routine across various job functions, including outside sales, service coordination, administration, and customer satisfaction surveying. The internship program is designed to give participants the best opportunity to become acclimated to the loading dock and door industry.

Interns will be challenged to progress intellectually and contribute to real sales projects, help develop relationships with customers, and gain hands-on experience that can assist them in acquiring a potential full time sales position with our company.

Program Requirements:
  • Pursuing a Bachelor’s Degree in business administration, or a related degree. (academic standing of a Junior)

  • Strong interest in outside sales as a potential profession
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word & Excel
