- Patented Rotating Hook - Only the DOK-LOK restraint from RITE-HITE uses a rotating hook to engage the ICC bar and secure the trailer to the dock. The rotating hook wraps up and over the ICC bar to help prevent more types of accidents than any other vertical barrier restraint, including landing gear collapse, trailer tipover and trailer upending. Provides greater reach (over 6 inches) for securing the ICC bar in below dock endloading situations.
- Off-Ground Mounting - Mounted on the dock wall (bottom of housing is 18" from ground), up and away from sand, oil, debris, standing water, ice, and snow. Long-term reliability and durability are maximized as a result. Unit is also zinc-plated for all-weather performance.
- Designed for Impact - Only the RITE-HITE DOK-LOK restraint is designed to be impacted. Triangular housing and roller and track design make positioning by the truck easy, requiring only 60 lbs. of horizontal force per inch of vertical movement. Non-impact units are easily damaged if struck during trailer positioning.
- Complete Communication System - Instructional/warning signs and red and green lights, inside and outside the building for maximum communication safety. Standard audible alarm and alarm override enhance communication effectiveness.

To safely engage trailers with or without ICC bars, RITE-HITE® offers the rugged WHEEL-LOK(TM) vehicle restraint. Ideal for facilities that receive a high volume of traffic without ICC bars - such as liftgate vehicles and drop-frame trailers. Also, in combination with DOK-LOK® restraints, the WHEEL-LOK(TM) restraint is ideal for use at one or two dock positions at facilities which receive a lower volume of this irregular traffic. |
Two 20" high solid steel barriers rise into position against the rear tires of the trailer once it is in position at the dock and the operator presses the LOCK button. Able to secure trucks that single-barrier automatic chocking systems with one 16" chock cannot hold.
