MILWAUKEE — The Rite-Hite Aftermarket Corporation introduced the TS-2000 Trailer Stand today, which is designed to prevent trailer landing gear collapse and trailer up-ending. The TS-2000 fits under the nose of "spotted" trailers to help support and prevent loading dock accidents.
"Rite-Hite Aftermarket has introduced this product in response to many customer inquiries," Rite-Hite Aftermarket President and CEO Paul Maly said. "In a very short time, the TS-2000 Trailer Stand is already improving the safety and efficiency of loading docks across the country."
The 5-1/2-inch tubular steel structure of the TS-2000 Trailer Stand helps prevent loading dock accidents by supporting trailers when faulty or rusted landing gear fails to support the trailer. The TS-2000 supports a 100,000-lb. static load capacity. A large 6-inch by 30-inch top plate fits directly under the edge of the trailer nose for solid support.
Dual positioning handles, and 16-inch solid rubber tires help with positioning and moving of the trailer stand. A single speed 12-inch crank is always in ready-to-use position making, operating easy and ensuring loading dock safety.
The TS-2000 Trailer Stand's 16-inch by 20-inch base pad provides a solid support for all types of trailers. The base pad comes complete with four drain holes to help prevent water collection and ice build-up.
The TS-2000 Trailer Stand is painted safety yellow and meets or exceeds requirements of OSHA Regulation 1910.178, TTMA Tech Bulletin No. 57. and AIAG Shipping and Receiving Handbook dated June 8, 1999.
