Rite-Hite Doors Receives ISO 9001 Certification

Rite-Hite Doors, Inc. has received ISO 9001 certification for the design and manufacture of industrial, commercial and retail doors. As the first specialty door company to receive the ISO 9001 certification, Rite-Hite Doors’ has demonstrated its continued commitment to enhance customer satisfaction through quality management practices and standards. This quality system documents Rite-Hite Doors’ plan to produce a consistent product, improving our capability to satisfy customers.

Rite-Hite Doors’ certification was an 18 month process that culminated in a comprehensive 5-day audit by Orion Registrar, Inc. The certification validates the efforts of Rite-Hite Doors employees, who received training and assisted in process development, to assure consistency of products from design through production.

ISO 9000 Standard, established by the International Organization of Standards, is the model for quality assurance and design, development and production. The requirements of the standards are aimed primarily at achieving customer satisfaction by preventing nonconformity at all stages from design through production to servicing.
