The STEEL-RITE™ II combines the design of a conventional sectional door with the proven breakaway technology of the WORKHORSE™ 1000 Sectional Door. Because most door impacts occur to the bottom panels of a door, the bottom two panels of the Steel-Rite II feature an impactable design. Durable Aketon™ facing and insulation are incorporated into the panel to provide enhanced impactability from forklift bumps. If the door is impacted, unique pivoting roller assemblies allow the panels to separate from the track to help minimize door damage and maintain the integrity of the full perimeter seal. This is an improvement over traditional sectional doors that are susceptible to forklift impact damage, resulting in significant downtime, maintenance, and energy costs. Reattachment is both easy and ergonomic, and no tools or special parts are needed. |
