JUMBO™ HYDRAULIC DOCK LEVELER
Setting Standards with Simplicity
 | Milwaukee - With a single 102-inch wide platform and service ranges above and below dock, the new 8-foot, 6-inch wide JUMBO™ hydraulic dock leveler from Rite-Hite Corporation allows full access to wider, fully loaded trailers. Forklifts safely and efficiently handle every load without obstruction, including end loads of trailers loaded to capacity. Thus, the JUMBO™ leveler assists companies in their quest for continuous improvement of logistics execution by eliminating productivity bottlenecks at the dock. Loads can be moved quickly, straight in and out of the trailer.

While many dock levelers have decks that are only 84” wide, the trailers that are backing up to these docks may be 102” wide. This 18” discrepancy limits the fork truck driver’s ability to access wide loads on these trailers. When the trailer bed is below dock, the dock bumpers and pit walls may also obstruct access to the load. Struggling to remove loads takes valuable time, and may damage loads, fork trucks and/or trailers. The JUMBO™ leveler takes advantage of simple, traditional 7-foot leveler design and functionality, but has a deck the same width as the 8-foot, 6-inch trailer.

Rugged steel DokSaver™ bumpers are integral components of the JUMBO™ leveler’s deck structure. This ensures the leveler’s protection without interfering with loading and unloading. These bumpers and rear impact hinges absorb the load of the truck’s impact when it backs up to the dock, thus eliminating the damage associated with traditional dock bumpers.
Safety is not compromised for efficiency. Standard equipment on the JUMBO™ HJ-3100 model includes the 7-inch-high, steel Safe-T-Lip® run-off barrier, automatic return to dock recycle function, full-time, velocity fuse free-fall protection and infinite leveler/lip control. The JUMBO™ leveler is also available without the Safe-T-Lip® barrier.
The simplicity in the JUMBO™ hydraulic system is also unique. The single pump and motor power unit used throughout Rite-Hite’s line of rugged hydraulic levelers is the same unit that powers the JUMBO™ leveler. The structure and hydraulic system are both covered by a 10-year to 20-year warranty.
