Milwaukee, WI -- The new Dok-Commander™ combination control panel from Rite-Hite Corporation offers the ultimate in safety and productivity. Through a single control panel at each dock position, multiple control components can be integrated to offer easy operation and help provide optimum dock safety.
The Dok-Commander system offers a simple, space-saving wall configuration by eliminating multiple control boxes and power lines on the wall. With easy to understand graphics and instructions a single Dok-Commander system allows simple access to controls for each dock component.
Easy operation is offered through the integration of multiple control devices including: dock leveler, vehicle restraint, dock door and dock shelter. An integrated transformer is used if the components have different power needs, which eliminates the need for multiple power sources going to each dock position. A single lock-out/tag-out power disconnect is available to ease maintenance and ensure it is performed under the safest possible conditions.
For additional dock safety, minimizing the confusion of multiple controls and reducing the possibility of costly accidents or injuries, the Dok-Commander system has the flexibility to interlock and interconnect multiple control components. Interlocking the hydraulic leveler and vehicle restraint, with options to integrate the door, lights and other power equipment optimizes dock safety and productivity and ensures that equipment is used in the proper sequence.
