ENCLOSURE TIGHTLY SEALS TOUGH-TO-SEAL TRAILERS
MILWAUKEE - The unique Frommelt ComboShelter™ dock enclosure produces a tight seal around a wide variety of trailers that are often difficult to seal, including those with liftgates or other troublesome rear projections. The ComboShelter delivers ultimate flexibility for maximum dock productivity as well as high sealing efficiency to ensure maximum energy cost savings.
Traditional compressible foam seals leave large gaps around the trailer when used with liftgate traffic, compounding heating or cooling expenses. The ComboShelter is uniquely designed to fill these gaps, providing a complete seal. The ComboShelter design also allows full access to the back of the trailer, with no protrusions to restrict the trailer opening. Its durable, innovative design improves working conditions by effectively sealing out harsh weather conditions.
The impactable ComboShelter unit is available with rugged new Durathon ™ fabric providing superior strength to withstand extreme conditions, and is built with a number of special features that significantly enhance durability. The special C4 head curtain reduces pressure in the top corners and adds to shelter life; reinforced stay pockets minimize curtain damage at high pressure points; side and head curtain inside reinforcements provide sliding surfaces for trailers and liftgates to reduce wear; and flexible leading edges of the side curtains minimize liftgate damage. Additionally, the side curtains attach with Velcro® to provide easy removal for repair, replacement or temperature control.
