Improving Indoor Air Quality with HVLS Fans and Fabric Curtain Walls
Industrial facilities are no stranger to air particulate due to common operations like cutting, grinding and welding, among many others. From small metal shavings to smoke, air particulate causes a host of concerns.
While using exhaust separation and barrier separation are common – and proven – methods to contain and remove dangerous air particulate, there are other cost-effective solutions facility managers are implementing. High-volume, low-speed (HVLS) fans provide a gentle breeze that disperses air particulate so it can’t build up in one area and become increasingly hazardous. When used in tandem with industrial curtain walls, HVLS fans and other methods of exhaust systems can become even more efficient.
